As a Destination Wedding Specialist who is looking forward to being your Wedding Partner, I understand the needs of today’s busy couples, and can work on your behalf as a liaison directly with the resort and wedding co-ordinators as your personal representative.  I am here to ask questions, to make helpful suggestions, and to help you feel at ease that your plans are going to go off as planned! And, of course, to ensure that no detail is overlooked.

As well, the wedding co-ordinators on-site sometimes take up to 7 days to respond to your questions. After having worked with many of them, I can answer the majority of your questions right away – and if I can’t, then I compile and send 1 page of questions in to them, instead of them receiving several questions and numerous e-mails from you, which you may wait days for an answer…!

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES INCLUDED WITH THE GOLD PACKAGE

• Destination Wedding Checklist that Joanne has designed through experience
• I will be your liaison in working with the on-site wedding co-ordinator through the numerous forms, requirements, packages and upgrades
• I will review contracts and agreements for you
• I can co-ordinate special events for the wedding party – welcome cocktail, excursion, rehearsal dinner, etc.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES INCLUDED WITH THE PLATINUM PACKAGE

• • Gold Package, plus:
  • I will also be with your group to make sure that everything runs smoothly at the resort.
  • I will meet with you and the on-site wedding co-ordinator to ensure that all your requests have indeed been met. Following this meeting, I will do a detailed time-line for the day of the wedding – who needs to be where when!  And sometimes why!
  • I will have organized a cocktail hour and/or dinner for the group to enable me to get the time-line information to all of the guests, and to answer questions
  • I will be in contact with the bride on the wedding day, and do the ‘running around’ that is usually left up to the mother of the bride!
  • I will work hand in hand with the on-site wedding co-ordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • This is just a VERY short synopsis of what may be done – you will receive a ‘What I Do On-site’ if this package is chosen
